There is no reason you should have to spend countless hours trying to build your own sales funnel from scratch when there are plenty of successful ones already out there. If you have the time and are dedicated there are many benefits to funnel hacking yourself. If you are successful you can create more funnels to continue to grow and expand your business. You are then not tied down by an outsourced company. If something goes wrong or needs to be to be fixed you can do it right then and there. You don’t need to wait for a third-party to troubleshoot the issue and then pay them some outrageous fee.

There are plenty of articles and videos out there explaining how to funnel hack. The resources are easily available if you decide to pursue this avenue.

As with most things in life, it’s much cheaper if you can do it by yourself. Provided you know what you are doing. If you are able to use the free resources available to funnel hack, you could easily save yourself hundreds of dollars a month.

Timing and lack of skill can really hold you back. If you don’t know what you are doing it can be especially difficult to figure out even with the help of videos and articles. If you for example don’t have a basic understanding of the technical skills it could take more time than you want to learn that skill just so you can funnel hack. That much time may not be worth it to you. Your time is valuable and could be better off being used on different projects for your business.

Not having the proper skill set could also lead to a very frustrating and detrimental experience. Like anything in business nothing is free. If you are going to outsource your funnel hack you are going to pay for it. Many of these companies who build funnels do much more than just funnel hack. So while that may be all that you need you may end up paying for services you won’t use. Many places will offer a free trial before making you pay so you can get an idea of what they provide. After that you are looking at costs anywhere from $300-$500 a month depending on what services you need.

Alternatively you could hire a freelancer to build your funnel for you. This approach is good because you can pay freelancers an hourly rate, rather than pay a service company a monthly fee. However freelance prices can range from $12/hr to $150/hr and you run the risk of varying skill sets and you are not really sure what you are going to get.

At some point problems may arise with your funnel and will need to be fixed. If you don’t know how to do it, then you may need to re-subscribe to that company or go back to that freelancer to correct the issue. Even if it is a simple fix that is more money you have to spend, cutting down your profits.

If you are at the stage in your online business where you are ready for a funnel hack, you need to take a long look in the mirror before deciding if you should do it yourself or outsource it. You have to ask yourself do I have the necessary skill set and if not do I have the time available to learn. There are resources available but this isn’t a simple skill picked up overnight. If you don’t have the time or the skill set do you have the money available to hire someone to do it for you, and can you find someone trustworthy to get it done in a timely and efficient manner.
